Bill Self has been a Basketball Coach for over fifty years. Bill Self was born at Okmulgee in Oklahoma State in the United States on the 27th of December, 1962. A college basketball coach who coached the Kansas University team to an NCAA Championship to 2012. Naismith Colleges was the award he received in 2012. In addition, he won the Big 12 Coaches of the Year Award that in the same year. He married Cindy Self in 1989. Tyler was his child. Lauren is Lauren's daughter. Self was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma where his father was the girl's basketball coach at the nearby Morris High School. He was offered a basketball scholarship to play at Oklahoma State University. For all the four seasons that he played in, he was awarded the basketball championship. In 1985, he earned a degree in business and then in 1989 he graduated with a degree in athletic management at Oklahoma State. Bill is one of the top Basketball coaches in the United States. Bill Self is worth 10 Million dollars according to Forbes & Business Insider. Self was the previous head coach of Illinois basketball was appointed as the new head coach of the team on June 9 2000. Self's coach from the past, Lon Kr ger, had left Illinois just recently to be the Atlanta Hawks NBA Head Coach.
