Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou, the oldest of her four siblings, was born on 8 August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. She was encouraged by her parents, dentist, and a teacher and both of them were teachers. They encouraged her to pursue her passion for acting. This was in contrast her earlier ambition to become a primateologist because she adored monkeys. Her meteoric rise as an actor in the young age was quick and marked by her early successes. Before she began to pursue the acting profession, Tautou was a participant in Jeunes Premiers which was a French show on TV that focuses on talent which was a part of Canal+ in 1998. The program also awarded her the title of The award for the Best Young Actress in during the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou is a pupil of the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris when she was a kid and enrolled in the school at young age she has since renounced her Catholic childhood. The actress claims to be a non-Catholic. Neben her acting, Tautou has also been a model and the face in the advertising campaign for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. An avid photographer, she produced a recent exhibition at the Arles International Festival titled Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on the spotlight and celebrities and then turns her camera to the media who sat on her shoulders following her sudden rise to stardom as Amelie and several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's worldwide success and fame soared after her appearance as Amelie Poulain's main actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin in the film d'Amelie. Amelie was an international box-office film that received acclaim at award ceremonies around the globe. It is the top-grossing French film to be released in the United States. Following this success Tautou starred in a wide range of movies ranging including British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles, and then he moved into Hollywood through Ron Howard's direction of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
